Good morning Spring Trail Family,
Happy Monday!
I wanted to thank everyone that helped plan our PTO Bowling Event and all that attended.  Everyone at Wheaton Bowl seemed to be having a fantastic time.
This week we are finishing ISAT Testing-hoping to be done by Friday morning with regular testing and makeups.  Our building is also preparing for the final 2 weeks of school prior to spring break.

ISATs ARE HERE-And other news.

Good morning Spring Trail Families,

Happy Tuesday!  As many of you know, ISAT Testing has arrived across the state of Illinois.  Our school's students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be testing this week and next.
While testing is going on, other things are also happening around our school.  This evening is our monthly PTO Meeting and our PTO's Bowling Event is this Saturday!  Students are also involved in classroom activities outside of ISATs, continuing to focus on Reading and Mathematics development.

Thank you for your continued support of Spring Trail. 

No School Tomorrow

Spring Trail Family,

Just wanted to remind everyone that students will not attend school tomorrow.  Tomorrow is our annual County-Wide Teacher Institute Day.  Many of our teachers are receiving training regarding reading strategies and how to differentiate instruction in the classroom. 

Enjoy the weekend and don't forget that Sunday is the NASCAR Race from Las Vegas and Monday is the first day of ISAT testing for our 3rd-6th graders.

The Last Week of February

Good afternoon Spring Trail Family,

I hope everyone was happy waking up to a Winter Wonderland this morning.
Can you believe that this is the final week of February?
As we enter March, please be aware of our upcoming ISAT Testing for Grades 3-6.  Teachers will be sending home schedules and a reminder phone call will be coming from our office.  In the meantime, please continue reading with your students and encouraging them to BucketFill at home and at school.

Family Game Night

Good morning Spring Trail Families.
I wanted to remind you about this evening's Family Games Night.  The festivities begin at 6:30 in the Spring Trail Commons.  I'm told that Bingo will be the game of choice and that fun will be had by all that attend.

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.
I'd like to use this post to highlight our excellent teachers at Spring Trail. The link to this post is to a recently published article in The Atlantic Magazine.
